Robert “Bob” Lee Irvin, 70, of Buchanan formerly of Wytheville passed away peacefully Monday, February 18, 2013. Bob was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces, loved to fish, and was a friend to many. He loved his two special dogs, Peewee and Peepers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Esther Vivian Bennington and Elbert Lee Irvin. Surviving to cherish his memory are close friends, Maria and Barbara. His “adopted” grandchildren, Joshua, Kayla, Cheyenne, Dakota, and Cadence will forever treasure his many kind words and deeds. Specials thanks to the Nelsons, Linda Rice, and Pastor Mike Huffman. Graveside services will be held 2pm, Saturday, March 2, 2013 in Lithia Methodist Church Cemetery, 21 DeLong Lane, Buchanan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home.
