Arthur “Bug”, Davis, Jr., 53 of Buchanan, passed away March 1, 2013. He was born in Clifton Forge, VA to Arthur Davis, Sr. and Connie Davis on February 25, 1960. Bug was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Walter and Nettie Davis and Dorothy Dawson. Bug worked for Groendyke for many years. Those left to mourn are his mother, Connie Davis of Springwood; sisters, Rosetta, Lenore, and Teresa Davis of Roanoke; brothers, Michael (Tammy) of Columbus, OH; Clinton of Springwood; and Jeffrey (Rozeta) of Covington; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friends, Joyce and Jay Thrasher. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry Haskins. Interment will follow in Springwood Baptist Church Cemetery.
